Maihaisheng designed and installed a vertical car park for a hospital in China. The client’s site covers an area of 845 square metres and features a seven-storey vertical car park with nine levels above ground. Divided into Car Park 1 and Car Park 2, the design makes full use of vertical space to create 296 vertical parking bays. On average, each parking bay occupies just 3.15 square metres. The total height of the automated car park is 21 metres. Compared to traditional drive-in car parks, the adoption of Maihaisheng’s vertical circulation system has increased the number of parking spaces by 200%.

The Maihaisheng vertical rotary multi-storey car park features a rain protection system on its exterior façade. This type of car park utilises vertical circulation to move parking spaces, thereby maximising space utilisation. Vehicles are parked on lifting platforms, which automatically rise, lower and move under system control in accordance with users’ requirements for vehicle access and retrieval, thus facilitating both parking and collection. This design significantly increases the number of parking spaces per unit area and optimises parking space utilisation. It is one of Maihaisheng’s most effective solutions to the challenge of parking shortages.

The adoption of vertical rotary multi-storey car parks significantly increases the number of parking spaces per unit area. By maximising space utilisation, this solution also conserves land resources, offers relatively simple and safe operation, and is equipped with an intelligent management system to enhance parking efficiency and the user experience.

The Maihaisheng vertical Rotary car park system features a touchscreen control panel, a facial recognition system and number plate recognition for vehicle entry and exit, enabling the separation of pedestrians and vehicles. The project comprises a total of 19 vertical car park units, with 19 entry and exit points designed for straight-in, straight-out access. This effectively ensures rapid vehicle entry and exit during peak periods.
