From July 3 to September 28, Chinese original art toy brand HERE KIMMONDO is operating its first pop-up store in South Korea on the 6th floor of I’PARK Mall in Yongsan, Seoul. The event marks the brand’s first offline pop-up activation in the Korean market. Previously, the brand’s IP WAKUKU gained attention after several Korean idols and celebrities were seen with WAKUKU products.

The pop-up store features a diverse lineup of IP products, including WAKUKU, SIINONO, ZIYULI, and AOO. A variety of merchandise, including plush toys, keychains, and collectible figures, is on display. The venue also includes an exhibition area and a photo zone, allowing visitors to experience the products while immersing themselves in the brand’s unique atmosphere.

WAKUKU is an IP recognized for its bold colors and distinctive design. Recently, styling content and everyday photos featuring WAKUKU have been widely shared across social media among Korean consumers.

Visitors discovered the pop-up through a variety of channels. Some visited after seeing related images on social media, while others came through recommendations from friends. There were also visitors who decided to visit after seeing WAKUKU-related content shared by their favorite idols.

Throughout the pop-up period, WAKUKU has continued to be mentioned on social media through content such as “Dress Like WAKUKU,” highlighting its signature colors and distinctive design. Some influencers have shared content incorporating WAKUKU items into their everyday fashion, while styling photos featuring WAKUKU keychains and plush toys have also been posted across social media platforms.
