The newly installed slitting machine adopts rotary blade slitting technology with freely adjustable blade positions to accommodate diverse slitting specifications. It reliably processes food-grade cupstock, PE coated base paper and other web materials with grammages ranging from 150gsm to 350gsm, delivering a stable slitting accuracy of ±0.2mm and an adjustable operating speed from 10 to 300 meters per minute.

Equipped with independent A/B winding shafts with automatic loading and unloading, the machine uses air expanding winding shafts paired with a fully automatic tension control system. Combined with surface friction and center winding modes, it produces finished rolls with smooth end faces, uniform tightness and compact roll form. The hydraulic shaftless unwinder with automatic lifting function enables fast loading of large-diameter parent rolls, significantly reducing roll change downtime.

The entire machine runs on frequency conversion speed control and PLC automatic control, fitted with an imported photoelectric deviation correction system that realigns web misalignment in real time. It is also integrated with advanced functions including automatic meter counting, fault alarm and automatic stop, and digital tension display, enabling fully visual production management with easy operation and high running stability. An automatic waste edge suction and discharge system collects and removes trimmings automatically, keeping the production site clean and reducing manual cleaning labor costs.

The stable slitting precision and fully controlled web tension reduce raw material waste in production to less than 1.5%, and eliminate common issues such as uneven roll edges, diameter deviation and web misalignment. These problems frequently cause downtime and alignment errors on customers’ high-speed automated cup forming lines; with improved dimensional consistency, clients can expect fewer machine adjustments, lower scrap rates and measurably higher overall production efficiency.

Following the upgrade, Paperjoy’s overall production capacity for paper cup bottom rolls has been significantly increased, enabling the company to fulfill large-volume bulk orders with shorter lead times. Standard specification orders can now be delivered within 7 working days. Every batch of finished rolls maintains consistent caliper tolerance, exceptional surface smoothness and high-tenacity fibers, guaranteeing maximum structural integrity and reliable heat-seal leak-proof performance. For clients operating high-speed lines with output above 180 cups per minute, the improved uniformity directly translates to smoother production runs and lower total manufacturing costs.
