Precision Metal Stamping

STEP’s metal stamping division is structured to maintain consistency and high accuracy across large production runs. The facility operates 70 stamping machines, including 66 sets of precision punching machines ranging from 25T to 300T. The equipment includes machinery from Taiwan Xieyi, Ward, and Shanghai Second Forging.

This infrastructure supports a daily production capacity of 8 million pieces (8KKpcs). STEP provides full-cycle stamping services through its independent mold workshop, which manages mold design, manufacturing, updates, and maintenance. The stamping division produces components such as metal shrapnel, precision terminals, heat sinks, and shielding housings.

CNC Precision Machining

Alongside its stamping facilities, STEP provides CNC turning and precision machining services. This subtractive manufacturing process produces cylindrical parts and executes specific cuts including drilling, boring, threading, and knurling.

The machining department is equipped with 58 Taiwan Ming Yang CNC automatic lathes, 26 CNC numerical control lathes, and 19 CNC machining centers. These facilities allow STEP to maintain precision tolerances between 0.005mm and 0.01mm. The CNC division supports multi-specification and multi-material production, ensuring required surface quality and component durability.

Industry Applications

STEP’s customized services supply components to multiple regulated industries:

• Automotive & New Energy: As an IATF16949-certified supplier, STEP manufactures engine mounts, chassis supports, body panels, and EV charging station casings.
• Consumer Electronics & Appliances: The company supplies keyboard bases, router components, and parts for white goods, including a patented contact spring used in PCB boards.
• Medical Equipment: STEP manufactures parts for clinical analysis instruments, MRI equipment, surgical tools, and physiotherapy devices.
• Aerospace: The company produces high-strength structural components, including wing skins and landing gear parts.

To verify product specifications, STEP Metal operates a testing facility equipped with three-dimensional, 2.5-dimensional, and two-dimensional automatic imaging machines, salt spray testers, and XRF fluorescence spectral analyzers.
