The 6.13-inch E-Ink display will be available in both color and black-and-white versions, making it ideal for reading, handwriting, and extended information processing. The 5-inch LCD display is designed for high-definition content, interactive applications, and more frequent smartphone tasks.
HiBreak Dual 2 is therefore both an E-Ink smartphone and an LCD smartphone, as well as a portable e-reader, digital notebook, and mobile productivity tool.
In recent years, Bigme has continued to advance E-Ink product technology. Previous-generation devices such as HiBreak Dual, B7 Pro feature the Dimensity 1080 chipset. Through Bigme’s software and display optimizations, these products have achieved E-Ink refresh performance of up to 80 FPS.
Bigme has also significantly improved automatic ghosting reduction and introduced a ripple-style page-turn animation, helping reduce the flicker that can occur when turning pages in high-definition display modes.
In terms of performance, Dimensity 1080-powered products such as HiBreak Pro and B7 Pro have achieved AnTuTu scores in the 700,000 range. HiBreak Dual 2 will feature the more powerful Dimensity 8300 chipset, with an AnTuTu score of approximately 1.6 million.
This more capable platform creates greater potential for higher E-Ink frame rates, improved ghosting control, faster system response, and smoother overall performance. Existing Bigme features, including the ripple-style page-turn animation, will also be retained and further optimized for HiBreak Dual 2.
