Grand Master Zaha Talhouni Becomes the Youngest Female 8th Dan Kukkiwon in Canada, the Middle East, and the Arab World
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada – July 3, 2026 – Champions Martial Arts proudly announces that Grand Master Zaha Talhouni has been officially promoted to 8th Dan Kukkiwon, one of the highest and most prestigious ranks in Taekwondo awarded by the Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.
With this historic promotion, Grand Master Zaha Talhouni becomes the youngest female 8th Dan Kukkiwon in Canada, the Middle East, and the Arab world, marking an extraordinary milestone in her lifelong dedication to Taekwondo.
For decades, Grand Master Talhouni has dedicated her life to developing athletes, mentoring instructors, and promoting the values of respect, discipline, perseverance, and excellence.
