PocketBay Launches AI-Native Deployment Platform to Help Developers Bring AI-Built Applications Online
PocketBay Technologies Limited announced the launch of its AI-native deployment platform designed to help developers and creators move applications built with AI coding tools from local environments into production.
As AI coding platforms such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Trae accelerate software creation, more developers are using natural language-based workflows to build web applications. However, deployment, infrastructure configuration, and application management remain key challenges after the coding process is completed.
PocketBay addresses this stage of development by providing a deployment and application management layer for AI-generated software. Developers can continue using their existing AI coding workflows while PocketBay handles deployment processes, runtime environments, hosting infrastructure, and application monitoring.
The platform is designed to simplify the transition from local projects to online applications. After connecting a project, PocketBay analyzes application structures, dependencies, and runtime requirements before preparing the appropriate deployment environment.
PocketBay currently supports a range of modern web application frameworks and development environments, including static websites, React, Vue, Next.js, Vite, Node.js applications, Python-based web services, and containerized applications using Docker.
Unlike traditional infrastructure platforms that primarily focus on server-level management, PocketBay is designed around application operations. The platform provides developers with visibility into application status, runtime information, usage data, and operational insights after deployment.
The company said the platform is built to support a new development workflow emerging alongside AI-assisted programming: AI tools help generate and improve code, while dedicated infrastructure services help developers deploy, monitor, and maintain applications.
PocketBay also provides managed PostgreSQL database support, allowing projects to integrate application hosting and data storage within a unified deployment workflow. The service is intended to reduce the technical complexity involved in preparing applications for production environments.
