COOLSMILE Launches on Kickstarter with a New Approach to Personal Cooling
BUSAN, South Korea – August 24, 2026 – As temperatures continue to rise worldwide, demand for practical personal cooling solutions is increasing. The second-generation COOLSMILE, now available on Kickstarter, introduces a different approach to portable cooling by freezing the entire cooling body instead of only a small cooling core. This innovative design delivers colder air and longer-lasting cooling without the need to cool an entire room.

They do not mean that COOLSMILE lowers the temperature of an entire room by 17°C. Product Overview
The following images highlight the design, cooling structure, and key specifications of the second-generation COOLSMILE.
・Cooling Performance: Under controlled test conditions at an ambient temperature of 30°C (86°F), COOLSMILE recorded a temperature difference of up to approximately 17°C (30.6°F) between the ambient air and the air at the outlet.
・Cooling Duration: Under controlled test conditions, the air temperature at the outlet remained approximately 3°C (5.4°F) below the ambient temperature about three hours after operation began. Cooling duration was recorded at up to approximately twice that of the previous COOLSMILE.*

・Power: USB-C rechargeable fan. No connection to an external power source is required during operation when the fan has been charged in advance.
