‘Kuch Sapno-Sa, Kuch Bikhra Hua’: A Sensitive Novel Dedicated to Youthful Memories and First Love
Ahmedabad, India – October 14, 2026 – IIT (BHU) alumnus and IFFCO Chief Manager Pawan Kumar captures the extraordinary emotions of ordinary life in his debut Hindi novel.
In an era where modern love stories often rely on dramatic plot twists and high-tension events, Pawan Kumar’s debut Hindi novel, ‘Kuch Sapno-Sa, Kuch Bikhra Hua‘ (A Bit Like Dreams, A Bit Scattered), chooses a remarkably distinct path. It is a story framed around those quiet, fleeting moments that gradually transform into life’s most cherished memories.
Set against the backdrop of an industrial training program in Guwahati, the narrative follows Rohit and Pooja. However, their story extends far beyond traditional romance—it is an intricate exploration of arriving in a new city, nurturing fresh dreams, navigating friendship, experiencing patient waiting, building trust, and adapting to the changing seasons of life. The greatest strength of the novel lies in its effortless simplicity, where relationships evolve organically over time and readers feel as though they are walking right alongside the characters.
Author Pawan Kumar believes that life’s deepest stories are often hidden within ordinary days.
“I have always felt that memorable love stories don’t make noise. They quietly become an integral part of our lives. I wanted to give words to that very experience,” says Pawan Kumar.
Harmoniously balancing his background in engineering and his professional career with a deep passion for literature, Kumar sensitively portrays the emotional landscape of today’s youth.
He further adds, “This is not just Rohit and Pooja’s story. It belongs to anyone who has ever held onto a city, a relationship, or a memory deep within themselves for a very long time.”
‘Kuch Sapno-Sa, Kuch Bikhra Hua’ leaves readers with a poignant conviction: life’s most beautiful stories often take root in the simplest, most ordinary moments – the very moments we frequently overlook and walk past in our daily lives.
