Stuart, Florida – 16th January, 2018 – Not everyone gets the opportunity to be part of a blue-collar team, some might wonder what it feels like and John Procaccino took the initiative to give readers the opportunity with his book titled “Blue Collar Chronicles”.

This exciting book tells us a construction site, a life form all it’s own. A living and thriving entity. From its infant stage, all the way to adulthood. From start to finish and all that goes on in between makes the construction site a fascinating place. And the main ingredient, the highly skilled tradesmen.

The back cover pretty much says why the author wrote the book. It is not a serious book. He wants to tell the funny things that do happen in the construction site, he wanted to express how a normal blue collar gets through his day and how the people interact.

This book is filled with a lot of imaginative illustrations written in well structured and simple English. It is guaranteed to wow its readers and keep them on the edge of their seats in agitation as they pace through from page to page.

About the author

John is a lifelong resident of Princeton, a small college town in New Jersey. He started working in his father’s hardware store on Nassau Street at the age of ten, where he could be found after school and every summer until high school graduation. In 1970 he started his apprenticeship as an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 269 of Trenton, New Jersey, and retired after forty-two years.

In 1983 he became a volunteer firefighter with Engine Co. #1 of Princeton, New Jersey. The combination of firefighting and construction work is typical of the blue-collar experience in “any town” USA. John has drawn on his forty-two years of experience in the construction industry to put his slant on what goes on behind closed gates and between the people who wear the hardhats. He sees the construction site as a life-form, a fascinating living entity, the success of which relies on the highly skilled tradesmen on the job.
