MICROSOFT VOLUNTEER DRIVEN CONFERENCE IN DALLAS ON MARCH 10TH MIRRORS GROWING TREND IN THE TECH INDUSTRY

27 February, 2018 – When most people think of Enterprise Resource Management and Customer Relationship Management software, the words “free” and “volunteerism” do not come to mind. Yet, as part of a growing trend where large tech companies are increasingly relying on volunteers to drive initiatives and knowledge about the product, a Microsoft sponsored, but completely volunteer driven event comes to Texas on March 10th

Experts from all over the world, senior Microsoft management, experienced users, and newcomers will all converge to learn and network about Dynamics 365.

This can be appealing for many people who prefer to learn about Microsoft’s premier business productivity software without a high pressure sales process.

Microsoft MVP and CRM Developer, Razwan Choudry, summarized the conference this way, “It provides as immersive experience into CRM, ERP and Digital transformation all in a day. You feel like you have downloaded many years of experiences shared by so many experts. Even paid conferences don’t offer the level and quality that Dynamics Saturday provides, and its completely free.”

Another audience that stands to gain are newcomers looking to get training.According to ZipRecruiter, the average salary of a Microsoft Dynamics CRM developer in the United States is at $122,500 a year with the current growth of the product and demand.

With this sort of value, free training would be a strong discount.

Brandon Ahmad, who is well-known as an expert in Dynamics 365 Performance Tuning for the ERP product space, stated, “All of us volunteers care about the quality and honesty of our events.  No one is paid for this event, but we all worked many hours outside of our jobs to make these sessions informative and helpful. We are really proud of the quality of information here.”

According to the volunteers, Microsoft has been very open with letting the volunteers choose the content and offer honest messages.  “Microsoft heavily agrees with our volunteer driven initiative.  We had free reign over all the session content and layout, while they provided a facility and assisted with speakers where needed.  We have Microsoft employees speaking, but we had to invite them,” stated Brandon Ahmad.

The Microsoft volunteer D365 Saturday event kicks off on March 10th at the Microsoft campus. Space is limited but it is open to anyone wishing to attend.
